KC Scheme 

Come and join us every Wednesday evening to train your puppy or adult dog to become a Kennel Club Good Citizen.

We currently run the Kennel Club schemes:-

The Puppy Foundation Course
Bronze Award

The Puppy Foundation Course is designed for puppies under 6 months of age to come along as soon as their vaccinations have been completed. This is a six week course costing just £20. The Puppy Foundation is a method of providing socialisation and it lays down a foundation for education and training. It helps your puppy to respond to you and to teach you an awareness of responsible dog ownership.

The Bronze award aims to produce a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled way on a lead, will stay in one position when commanded and allow its owner to clean, groom and inspect it. This award is an advancement of the Puppy Foundation and is an excellent stepping stone to more advanced methods of obedience training. This award helps to develop the handlers understanding and training of their companion.

Please note:- Dogs do not have to be registered by The Kennel Club to be able to take part in any of the schemes however all dogs must have up to date vaccinations (a copy of the current certificate will be asked for). There are no age restrictions to the Bronze Scheme.
